High-quality thermofoil, properly applied under correct heat and vacuum pressure, creates a permanent bond with the MDF substrate. Modernino uses vacuum thermal bonding at 130-150°C, ensuring void-free adhesion. Our Lifetime Warranty covers any manufacturing defects including delamination.
Thermofoil is heat-rated to withstand temperatures up to 65°C (149°F) without delaminating. NJ summer temperatures in residential environments do not typically exceed this threshold. Avoid placing heat-generating appliances directly against thermofoil surfaces.
Minor scratches can be addressed with color-matched repair kits. Significant damage typically requires panel replacement, which Modernino can facilitate under our warranty. The advantage: individual panels can be replaced without replacing the entire system.
Our MDF substrate uses FSC-certified wood fibers with low-emission adhesives (E0 rating). The thermofoil PVC is produced without phthalates. By using engineered wood, we reduce reliance on old-growth timber. Our facilities use energy-efficient manufacturing processes.
